ABOUT US
Aero Tree has been rebuilding Air Locks/Feeders since 2010. We started in this business because there were 20 Mulch Blower trucks in Palm Beach County. Mulch companies tried other machine shops to have the Air Lock/Feeders rebuilt but it didn't work out. Aero Tree was able to fill that need. Here we try to maintain .020-.030 clearance between rotor and box so it's a tight clearance. You need to have your auto reversing working good. If not feeder will lock up. Locking up is not because of the rebuilt feeder, a new feeder will be the same. It is very important for your auto reversing to work.
We have customers nationwide, and what they do is ship their Air Lock/Feeders to us. We try to have a turnaround of 3 weeks from the commencement of work, depending on your Air Lock/Feeder. If we have one completed we can trade out your Air Lock for a quicker turnaround. Aero Tree requires a 50% deposit via FedEx when Air Lock is shipped. Balance due at completion.

WHY SHOULD YOU REBUILD YOUR AIR LOCK/FEEDER
Your Air Lock is the heart of your mulch blower truck. When it's bad the following happens:
It's half the price of a new one. Aero Tree welds the rotor blades wider than the original ones which makes it last longer and loses less air. All Air Locks come with new bearings.
- When you are blowing 100 ft. of hose, or less and the hose is plugging up. (This in down time)
- When you are losing air in the top of Feeder with 1/4 inch gaps in the sides of rotor.
- This causes the mulch in the Finn chain truck to blow in the bottom floor. This causes chains, shaft and sprockets to break because your feeder is bad.
- When Feeder/Air Lock is worn out, employees' run the pony engine faster to get more air. This makes you burn more diesel fuel and puts a strain on your hydraulic system.
- A new Air Lock/Feeder pays for itself in 2 weeks with the added protection.
